As a high quality, high results after school program in California we partner with middle schools and intervene in the key adolescent years to increase opportunity and to set a permanent path for high needs students to graduate high school, become college and career ready, and to connect to real world learning experiences. 

We at Citizen Schools California (CSC) are hundreds of volunteers sharing their passion and skills with the next generation. We are nearly 70 staff at eight schools serving nearly 700 students. We are numerous individual, foundation, corporate, district, and government supporters. We are also an essential part of an education reform and service movement, including the Citizen Schools network of 21 cities, 44 schools, and thousands of volunteers nationally.
