From the North
Take I-93 South to the "Purchase Street/South Station" exit #23. Take a left at the first set of lights onto Seaport Blvd/Evelyn Moakley Bridge. At the next set of lights take a right onto Sleeper Street. The Museum is the building on the right. For parking, at the end of Sleeper Street take a left onto Congress Street. Take the first left for the Farnsworth Street Parking Garage, or the third left for the Stillings Street Parking Garage. Be sure to bring your ticket to the museum for validation. To walk to the Museum, go back to Congress Street, turn right, and walk towards the bridge.
From the South
From I-93 North, take the South Station/ I-90 exit #20. Follow signs towards I-90 East, and once in the tunnel take the first exit to "South Boston." At end of the ramp, go straight onto East Service Road. At the next intersection take a left onto Seaport Boulevard. At the second set of lights take a left onto Sleeper Street. The Museum is the building on the right.
For parking, at the end of Sleeper Street take a left onto Congress Street. Take the first left for the Farnsworth Street Parking Garage, or the third left for the Stillings Street Parking Garage. More expensive, garage parking is also available. Take East Service Road to the end of the large parking lot and take a left onto Seaport Boulevard. Drive several blocks and take a left onto Sleeper Street just before the bridge. The Museum is the building on the right. At the end of Sleeper Street, take a left onto Congress Street. Take the first left for the Farnsworth Street Parking Garage, or the 3rd left for the Stillings Street Parking Garage.
From the East (Logan Airport and 1A)
Take I-90 West Exit #25, "South Boston." At end of the ramp proceed straight onto B Street. At the next set of lights take a left onto Seaport Boulevard. At the third set of lights take a left onto Sleeper Street. The Museum is the building on the right.

By Subway:
Red Line
Take the Red Line, the commuter rail or Amtrak to South Station and follow the signs to exit at the Federal Reserve Building.
Walk toward the back of the Federal Reserve by walking one block on Summer Street (away from downtown and towards the water)
Take a left onto Dorchester Ave. The water will be on your right.
Dorchester Ave ends on Congress Street after one block. Take a right and cross the bridge.
The Children's Museum will be on your left. It's the building with the 40-foot milk bottle in front.
Orange and Blue Lines
Take the Orange or Blue line to State Street.
Use the Devonshire Street exit from the T.
Go east on Devonshire 1 block and make a left on Water Street
Turn right on Congress Street and continue for several blocks.
Walk over the Congress Street bridge and you'll see the Children's Museum ahead on your left, behind the 40-foot milk bottle.
Walking from state street takes approximately 13 minutes for an adult.
By Bus:
Take any MBTA bus to South Station and exit next to the big silver Federal Reserve tower.
Walk toward the back of the Federal Reserve by walking one block on Summer Street (away from downtown and towards the water).
Take a left onto Dorchester Ave. The water will be on your right.
Dorchester Ave ends on Congress Street after one block. Take a right and cross the bridge.
The Children's Museum will be on your left, and Citizen Schools is located on the 5th floor.
