Celebrating Over 20 Years of Generous Support from Bain Capital Community Partnership

We are thrilled to announce that Citizen Schools has received a generous grant from Bain Capital Children’s Charity as part of Bain Capital Community Partnership, a longtime supporter and champion of our mission. This remarkable gift is made possible thanks to a nomination from Danielle Wang, Bain Capital Operating Partner and a dedicated Citizen Schools Board Member.

Bain Capital has been a steadfast partner of Citizen Schools for over 20 years, providing not only financial support but also the time, expertise, and passion of their employees. This latest grant is a testament to Bain Capital's ongoing commitment to empowering young people and fostering educational equity for students in Boston and across the country.

This grant will support our ongoing efforts to provide students with the skills, mentorship, and opportunities they need to succeed in school and beyond. It will also help us continue to bridge the opportunity gap, ensuring that all students, regardless of their background, have access to high-quality experience-based teaching and learning and diverse career pathways.

As we celebrate this partnership, we also want to highlight the broader impact of Bain Capital Children’s Charity (BCCC), which provides financial support to U.S. nonprofit organizations that benefit children and young people in unique and valuable ways. Through the BCCC program, more than 70 organizations each year receive grants to support their general operating needs and impactful programs. We are honored to be among these organizations and look forward to continuing our partnership with Bain Capital to create lasting change in the lives of young people.
