112th Congress Seated in Washington, D.C.

The 112th Congress was seated in Washington on January 6th. Among the many pressing issues facing the new Congress is renewing the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (also known as No Child Left Behind). Citizen Schools recently sent a letter welcoming the new Congress and laying out key issues regarding the expanded learning day to improve education in our nation.
