Merck Citizen Teachers investigate and solve crimes with New Jersey apprentices

GinoEver wonder how crimes get solved? New Jersey Citizen Teachers from Merck Research Laboratories, Gino Salituro (featured with student on the right) and Ellen Barrabee are showing Ivy Hill apprentices how to investigate a crime just like Forensic Detectives.  Students are taking on the roles of fingerprint, hair and fiber, and DNA specialists to analyze evidence to solve a crime.

Ivy Hill staff member, Daniel Glaubinger refers to Gino and Ellen as “dream” CTs who always thoughtfully plan ahead and come prepared each lesson ensuring apprentices get the most out of their apprenticeship.  They even donated a microscope to the Ivy Hill campus.
