Durham Middle School Extends Day for Some Students WRAL-TV

In partnership with Citizen Schools, Neal Middle School in Durham, NC announced that it will extend the school day for about 270 sixth-graders. The new expanded learning time program will add three extra hours to the school day, four days a week, and will give students the opportunity to receive more academic support and participate in apprenticeships.
