Seesaw is an online social media-like platform for students to engage with teachers and with each other on. Through text, image, and video formats, students often shared artwork, and their feelings about the days of living through quarantine, as well as a few videos from students about highlights during this time.
All staff members at RAM participated in utilizing Seesaw to connect with students. We saw that Seesaw allowed students to express themselves, during a time when connection and self-expression are very difficult. As a result, participating students experienced social-emotional learning and social growth.
