Teaching Fellow: Carina (ESCS)
Citizen teachers: Mark, Noah, Lin, Walker, Ariana (PillPack)
Students worked to understand different physics and science concepts, through creative engineering design projects. With the help of Citizen Teachers from PillPack, they designed strong bridges out of gumdrops and toothpicks, learned about how airplanes work, and investigated states of matter through dry ice and oobleck.
Edson and Alex investigate a material made out of cornstarch and water that is neither a liquid nor a solid.
Alison and Delilah leap for joy as soap bubbles rise up due to a reaction with dry ice.
Diana builds a strong bridge using gumdrops and toothpicks after learning about mass, force, and weight.
